Worship

“…worship the LORD in the splendor of His holiness.” -Psalm 29:2

Our worship draws from varied traditions and styles. It is a blending of some traditional elements with more contemporary styles and attitude. We gather on Sunday mornings for worship that includes music, praise, scripture, and a reflection on the scripture passage of the day, given by the Pastor.

The first Sunday of every month is Communion Sunday. The table of the Lord is open to all professing faith in Christ as Savior. We gather for worship expecting to encounter our risen Lord in a special way.

We share a sense of expectation that God will meet us, touch and inspire us, and strengthen us for our journeys. Bring hearts ready to be awash with a sense of the holy, as our music, prayers, and meditations are lifted up in love and thanksgiving to the author of life.

THE WEDNESDAY PRAYER AND MEDIATION HOUR will resume on Wednesday, November 2, in the sanctuary at 7:00PM.  In this special time of focus, we learn from God’s word, and apply spiritual truths and thoughts to a variety of prayer styles.  Sometimes we are silent; other time we pray out loud, or use music or scripture as our guide.  We learn disciplines that we can use throughout the week.  We pray for ourselves, each other, and our church and world.  There is a place for you before the throne of God on Wednesday evenings, and at all times.
